Our stay at the Samuel Church estate was outstanding! Our group hailed from TN, GA, MD, PA and MN. Some of us grew up in RI and remembered our childhood summer weekends at Goosewing Beach, which we did get to while here in Little Compton. We were visiting RI for our nephew's high school graduation and our large group needed a large space. The historical house was perfect. We appreciated the modern kitchen and bathrooms yet the historical look to the remainder of the rooms. Not only did we have enough space inside but outside as well. The park across the street was ideal for our teenagers to run around and play ball. The roads were a delight for some of our party to go running. Kristin, our host, was very responsive to inquiries before and during our visit. Kristin provided excellent suggestions to local places. The local cafe and Lee's grocery were a favorite of ours. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with the high-end appliances. The farm fresh eggs were delectable, Kristin! The house was exactly what we needed, very roomy and the two full bathrooms on the second floor to the bedrooms served our mix of ages and genders well. The half bath on the first floor was handy. All rooms were very spacious! We would stay here again!
